This online journey is built to move learners through the fundamentals of personal finance, expose them to exciting new findings and trends, and enable them to engage in a meaningful way with experts and peers.
Meet the Instructors
J. Michael Losh
J. Michael Losh, MBA currently serves as a Board Member for Prologis, Inc., TRW Automotive, Inc., Cardinal Health, Inc. Masco Corporation, Aon plc, H.B. Fuller Company, and Amesite, Inc. He is the Chairman of the Board of Masco Corp. (2015-present). Mike has served on numerous other public boards, and served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of General Motors Corp., the world's largest vehicle manufacturer, from July 1994 to August 2000. Mike received his B.S. in Mechanictal Engineering from Kettering University and his M.B.A. from Harvard University.
Tim Marshall, MBA is President and CEO of Arbor Bancorp, Inc. and Bank of Ann Arbor. He is very active in his community and serves as a Board Director and immediate past Chair for the Michigan Bankers Association. He also volunteers his time to many organizations, including the United Way, American Red Cross, Arbor Hospice, and Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority. His banking career spans over 30+ years. Tim received his B.S. in Industrial Management from Purdue University and his M.B.A. from Butler University.
Joanne Rau is Senior Vice President and business banking group executive for Fifth Third Bank’s Great Lakes region which includes Michigan and Northwest Ohio. She currently serves on the Ann Arbor SPARK executive committee. She is also past chair of the United Way Washtenaw Power of Purse and past board member of Winning Futures. Joanne received her B.B.A. from Eastern Michigan University and has over 18 years of banking experience, 14 of which have been with Fifth Third Bank.
