Meet the Instructors
Demond Johnson, AFAOA, AFPA, IFA, is the CEO and founder of A2 Fitness Professionals, a business he started after 20 years of active duty service in the U.S. Army, as a Modern Army Combative Instructor, Demond’s primary goal is to improve the health and wellness of the Greater Ann Arbor Community. He is certified through Aerobics & Fitness Association of America, American Fitness Professionals Association and International Fitness Association.
Allison Mankowski, RD is a Sports Dietitian at Eastern Michigan University, and owns a practice in Ann Arbor that focuses on Nutrition Management. She works to encourage positive nutrition behaviors, promotes positive image and mindful weight management. Allison received her B.S. and M.P.H. at the University of Michigan in Movement Science and Human Nutrition and Dietetics, respectively.
Mandy Bush, MAT, E-RYT is co-creator of Be here, Be kind, Be you!, a mindfulness and self-compassion program. She is also the founder of Sit Well, Be Well LLC. Mandy is a certified experienced hatha yoga teacher (E-RYT), Sacred Geometry Energy Medicine practitioner (level II), Divine Sleep ® Yoga Nidra guide, and a certified Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga teacher. Mandy earned both her B.A. and Master of Teaching from Wayne State University.
Rebecca Vredenburg, BSN, E-RYT is co-creator of Be here, Be kind, Be you!. She is also the founder of Healing Heart Yoga and runs a private coaching practice working to empower children, teens and adults to cultivate a mindset of curiosity, resilience and responsibility. She’s an advocate for at risk youth in the Grand Rapids area. Rebecca received her B.S. in Nursing from the University of Michigan.
