Amesite And NAFEO Believe Their Collaboration Could Drive Revenue for Amesite and Ensure Sustainable Programming for Learners
December 15, 2022

Amesite Inc. has partnered with NAFEO to create what the organizations believe is a powerful alliance that has the potential to drive revenue for Amesite and provide sustainable programming for learners. The collaboration has resulted in a response to the National Institute of Standards and Technology's request for information regarding the design of potential semiconductor and microelectronics innovation manufacturing institutes in the United States.

The Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) for America Act is set to transform the U.S. semiconductor industry by offering a range of supportive funding mechanisms. As stated by the White House, the Act is designed to "ensure more people from all backgrounds and all regions and communities around the country, especially people from marginalized, under-served, and under-resourced communities, can benefit from and participate in STEM education and training opportunities."

With the recent collaboration with NAFEO, Amesite believes it is well-positioned to help address the talent shortages and diversity challenges that the semiconductor industry faces. NAFEO CEO and Attorney Lezli Baskerville said, "NAFEO’s collaboration with Amesite will enable a large cohort of diverse persons to attain credentials in growth and high need disciplines, and equally as important, according to the Business Roundtable, new and/or different skills. The persons participating in the NAFEO Amesite collaboration will also have imbued in them the work ethic and cultural mores that are the cornerstones of an HBCU education, including a strong sense of their limitless potential, even in the most competitive industries, like the semiconductor industry."

Amesite Founder and CEO, Dr. Ann Marie Sastry, commented, "We are confident that we will be able to provide learning opportunities through the various funding sources that are becoming available, and excited to begin. Amesite and NAFEO have the ability to launch sophisticated technological programs in as little as 24 hours around the globe, and are targeting funding for HBCUs and PBIs, to improve the diversity of the semiconductor workforce."

Overall, the Amesite and NAFEO collaboration has the potential to drive revenue for Amesite and provide sustainable programming for learners in the semiconductor industry. By leveraging their proven SaaS collaboration, Amesite and NAFEO believe they are well-positioned to help the U.S. lead in this space and address the talent shortages and diversity challenges facing the industry.

Public-private partnerships (PPPs) can drive revenue for the private partner and assure the sustainability of the work of the PPP by assuring that government funds can flow to the partners. PPPs can take many forms, such as joint ventures, shared services, and funding arrangements. These collaborations can help to leverage the resources of the private partner, such as their expertise, technology, and financial capital, to support the delivery of education services. In return, the private partner can benefit from new revenue streams, such as fees for services, licensing agreements, and other forms of financial return on their investment. Additionally, PPPs can also help to assure the sustainability of the work of the partnership by ensuring that government funds can flow to the partners, providing a stable source of funding for the delivery of education services. By combining the strengths of both the public and private sectors, PPPs can drive revenue for the private partner and assure the sustainability of their work, supporting the growth and development of communities and the broader economy.
